“Home Canning”

 

You can have it any way you want,

 hot or cold, straight from the can,

 over in Japan the latest craze,

 is frying ham

 

Our food is all made kosher,

 unless someone adds a thumb,

 we’d tell you it’s all homemade,

 but we believe that lies are dumb

 

If you’re into eating off of Styrofoam,

 fast food is down the street,

 but with all the fresh cholesterol,

 it’s really hard to get a seat

 

Our steady customers like canned soup,

 and the microwave works fine,

 and our watermelon is gourmet,

 we remove the seeds and rind

 

The canned sardines are from Norway,

 the fruit salad from Mexico,

 you can have it anyway you want,

 hot, cold, fast, or really slow

 

Come by when you’re in town,

 we’ll heat it up for you,

 our waitresses are wonderful,

 they’ll add hot sauce to your stew . . .
