“The Artist And The Seal”
A seal stopped by to say good morning,
he likes to view people on their walk,
he seems to like their silly sounds,
their laughter and their talk
He really seems to like their music,
flute, harmonica and guitar,
under water he hears the whales,
that sing their songs from near and far
He likes the way the children smile,
when ever he goes swimming by,
he likes to bellow at silly seagulls,
when he sees them flying high
The other day while I had coffee,
I think I saw him shed a tear,
he might be worried about the water,
pollution causes lots of fear
The two of us love beauty,
I’m the artist, he’s the seal,
when people pollute the water,
I think I know the way he feels
By sunrise tomorrow morning,
some pollution could disappear,
we owe it to our aquatic friends,
nobody likes to live in fear…
