“Save The Planet”

 

Breakfast with the pigeons,

 coffee on the run,

 seagulls, pelicans and puffins,

 ravens before the day is done

 

High tide and then low tide,

 fairy tales and fantasy,

 Cannery Row does roll with rhythm,

 the ocean calls out wild and free.

 

Lunchtime with the turtles,

 dolphins dance above the surf,

 all is well, spread love around,

 where the ocean meets the earth

 

God is in His gardens,

 life yet thrives on coral reefs,

 breathe deep and say a prayer,

 for those involved with world relief

 

Dinnertime with diving cormorants,

 sparrows and hummingbirds come to call,

 take in twilight time’s delight,

 rainbows and shadows gently fall

 

Bedtime for God’s children,

 from sea to shining sea,

 we all must help to save the planet,

 God is love, and love is free . . .
